The Achievement of TUBC 2007
The Thammasat Undergraduate Business Challenge (TUBC 2007) was hosted by the BBA International Program of Thammasat University at The Dusit Thani Hotel during the 23th – 26th of August, 2007. This event was well responded from public and business community as well as leading International business schools worldwide. Sixteen universities across the world including top four local universities and twelve highly recognized overseas universities had actively participated in the event. Those included
Thammasat University, Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Assumption University, McGill University (Canada), University of Ottowa (Canada), University of California Berkeley (USA), University of Southern California (USA), University of Texas at Austin (USA), University of South Carolina (USA), University of Auckland (New Zealand), Singapore Management University, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), University of Malaya (Malaysia), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (China), Chinese University of Hong Kong (China).
By various means of public announcements, including newspapers, magazines, website, radio channel, and other television media, TUBC 2007 has been made known to a wide range of audiences such as students, undergraduates, postgraduates, professors from various universities, and businessmen from leading corporations. Moreover, the participating team members and TUBC Organizing Committee were interviewed; the event was published and broadcast over various newspapers and radio channel. The event is regarded as a forefront academic event, supporting the improvement in Thai education standard. There are more than 400 spectators attending the final round of competition to witness the finalists’ ability to solve the problems that the company in the case was facing.
